Generation of Polarization Waves in the Super-Radiance Decay of Localized Excitations in the Linear Chain of Atoms

The paper regards the super-radiance decay of localized excitation in the line of two-level atoms. The excitation is demonstrated to be underradiated. The residual part forms polarization waves propagating from areas of residual excitation to the line edge.
