The viscosimetric investigation of the influence of UV-radiation on low density polyethylene (LDPE) has shown that with the increasing of the radiation time the characteristic viscosity and hence the average viscose molecular mass of LDPE increases. A dependence of effectivity of radiation action on the thickness of species has been observed. The interval of doses preceding gelation has been investigated.
