Time and space characteristics of radiation difference frequencies, excited by nonlinear polarization waves are considered, when the cross-dimensions of the area, blocked with the waves of nonlinear polarization are of the order of the wavelength of the difference radiation and the width of the frequency spectrum of the exciting radiation is of the order of the difference frequencies.
The optimum transformation conditions have been found, at which sharply-directed and wide-range radiations of difference frequency in the SHF range are obtained.
