Extremes of shot-noise fields in the presence of regularly varying tails

The paper considers shot-noise fields with regularly varying tailed amplitudes. A nondegenerate limit law under the linear normalization for maxima of the field over bounded measurable regions growing monotonically in the Van Hove sense is obtained.
