Minimax problem is considered in the frame of general statistical theory which includes both a classical Wald's theory and a quantum statistical decision theory. General conditions for the existence of minimax measurements are obtained, essential completeness of the class of соvariant measurements is proved (a generalization of the classical Hant–Stein theorem). Connections with the classical statistical decision theory are considered.
