Elements of potential theory for non-homogeneous Markov processes

The paper deals with some problems of potential theory for a wide class of non-homogeneous Markov processes. We discuss approximation of first hitting times, characterization of semipolar sets, correspondence between the process and its adjoint, the Hunt identity and spectral measures for additive functionals.
