A mathematical model for radio waveguide is the product of a large numbar of random matrices. A general result concerning such products (cf. [3]) may be used in this case. But its practical application requires, in general, a good deal of computer work when it is highly desirable to have an explicit formulae. The present paper contains some suggestions on these matters.
