Asymptotic analysis of some service systems
Teoriâ veroâtnostej i ee primeneniâ, Tome 11 (1966) no. 4, pp. 675-682

Systems with an intensive stream of calls and a large number of service channels are considered. The service time is supposed to be negative exponential. Some simple approximate formulae for the probability of loss of calls and for the distribution of the number of occupied channels are found.
