Generalized Admissibility, Well-Definedness, and Invertibility of Linear Partial Differential Operators

It is shown that the concepts of generalized admissibility (Massera) and well-definedness (Zhikov) for linear partial differential operators on $\mathbb R^n$ are equivalent in the Hilbert space. Applications are considered.
