Analysis of chiral anomaly in dimensional regularization by means of projection technique

We suggest a selfconsistent method for calculation of the chiral anomaly in the dimensional regularization. The advantage of our approach is the absence of the four dimensional symbols $\gamma_5$ and $\varepsilon_{\mu\nu\lambda\rho}$ in noninteger space-time dimensions. As an example we discuss the massless quantum electrodynamics.
