              			Zubarev's nonequilibrium statistical operator method is used to give a statistical description of a nonequilibrium plasma in its electromagnetic self-field. Generalized transport equations are obtained for the charged particles and the oscillators of the electromagnetic field with allowance made for the local conservation laws.
