Cross section for capture of~a~particle by~a~spherically symmetric body and different types of~finite motion in~the relativistic theory of~gravitation

An expression is obtained in the framework of the relativistic theory of gravitation for the cross section for capture of a particle that has an arbitrary velocity at infinity by a fairly compact spherically symmetric body. A comparison is made with the corresponding relations obtained in the framework of general relativity.
