The one-dimensional and quasione-dimensional Hubbard models with infinite repulsion of the electrons at one center are considered. The energy levels of the one-dimensional chains are degenerate with respect to the spin. The degeneracy is lifted by cyclization or inclusion of interchain interactions. The ground state of the quasione-dimensional systems has minimal spin.
