A method is suggested for derivation of the Bethe ansatz equations for the 6-vertex model on the square lattice rotated by an arbitrary angle with respect to the coordinate axis. The method is based on the random walk representation for configurations of the model. The equations for the simplest case – the ice model, are derived as illustration of the method.
