Separation of variables describing the stable phase germ is achieved both in the equilibrium distribution of germs and in the Fokker–Planck equation which determines the kinetics of the first kind phase transition, exploiting the symmetry properties of the work of the germ formation. Many-dimensional kinetic theory of the first kind phase transitions is reduced to the one-dimensional theory. Isothermic cavitation and non-isothermic nucleation are considered as the illustrations of the method developed.
