              			The Cauchy problem is solved for a kinetic model of Ising–Kac type
with spin-flip dynamics. The spectrum of “slow” relaxation times
and the corresponding eigenfunctions for the relaxation of the distribution
with respect to the order parameter are obtained. The application of the model to the relaxation dynamics of glasses is discussed, and it is shown that the model possesses the property of
