Simplest soliton solutions of the equations of the periodic Toda chain of the series $A_k$ in the formalism of the scalar $L$--$A$ pair

By means of the scalar $L$–$A$-pair framework, the explicit expressions are found for the simplest soliton solutions of the algebra $A_k$ connected with the fundamental (vector) representations of the dimension $k+1$.
