Spontaneous compactification of $d=11$ supergravity due to Rarita–Schwinger fields

A new mechanism of spontaneous compactification by Rarita–Schwinger fields is suggested. A new self-consistent solution of $d = 11$ supergravity theory compactified on the squashed seven-sphere with torsion is constructed.
