On restricted $N$-soliton solutions of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation

Many-soliton component is investigated for the solutions of nonlinear Schrödinger equation obtained from $N$-soliton (in particular, one-soliton) solutions by means of restricting the support (in $x$) of the initial (at $t=0$) function to an arbitrary finite semi-infinite interval.
