Thermodynamic properties of the Peierls model

The thermodynamic behavior of the model in the simplest integrable case is investigated.
It is shown that there exists a limit Gibbs distribution at nonzero temperature $T$ and that
in the limit $T\to 0$ this state converges to the ground state of the model.
