Collinear three-particle collisions in the quasiclassical approximation. Excitation, dissociation, and exchange

Expressions are obtained in the quasiclassical approximation for the amplitudes of excitation, dissociation, and exchange in the collinear collision of a diatomic molecule and a structureless atom. For the atom-harmonic oscillator model the numerically obtained excitation probabilities agree well with the exact quantum values and are identical to the quasielassical results obtained by the "classical $S$ matrix" method.
