A scheme is proposed for calculating current states in the theory of superconductornormal metal-superconductor SNS sandwiches at near-critical temperatures, This method is simpler than those used in the literature. Perturbation theory in the ratio of the coherence length in the superconductor to the thickness of the normal layer and Galerkin's method are used to calculate the characteristics of the unperturbed problem. The scheme is illustrated by examples.
