Functional integration is used to study Hamiltonian and non-Hamiltonian dynamics
of three coupled oscillators. Solutions of the equations of motion obtained in the
stationary phase approximation are compared with processes known in coherent
optics. The non-Hamiltonian description is based on Schwinger's approach and
the approximation of weak nonlinearity.
