Analysis of the Dyson equation for stochastic integral equations

On the basis of a previously developed functional method, the mass and vertex functions are obtained in the case of the one-dimensional integral equation for the telegraph, generalized telegraph, and Gaussian processes. The obtained expressions are used to estimate the conditions of applicability of the frequently encountered Kraichnan and Bourret approximations.
