The contribution of sea quarks to the distribution functions in the Bjorken limit is studied in the model of two-dimensional quantum chromodynamics in the $1/N$ approximation. The considered “cylindrical” graphs make a contribution that is interpreted as renormalization of the residue of the $f$ trajectory of the vacuum channel.
