Dispersion relations for the $\gamma NN\to\gamma NN$ forward scattering amplitude and generalized optical theorem

On the basis of the general principles of quantum field theory, dispersion relations and a generalized optical theorem are proved for the $\gamma NN\to\gamma NN$ forward scattering amplitude by analytic continuation with respect to the mass variables.
