Study of the scaling behavior of semi-inclusive distributions by the renormalization-group method

A similarity (scaling) relationship for semi-inclusive multiple reactions is analyzed from the point of view of its compatibility with quantum field theory. For this, use is made of the renormalization-group method, which also makes it possible to estimate the corrections to the scaling solution in definite kinematic regions. The connection between the obtained scaling solution and other known scaling properties is established. The conditions of applicability of the consequences of the obtained relations are discussed.
