Equations describing the ionization of an atom in the field of a strong electromagnetic wave

Exact integral equations are proposed for the ionization amplitude of an atom in the field of an electromagnetic wave. The first iteration of the equations coincides with the usually employed approximate expression for the ionization amplitude.
