Solvable model of an unrenormalizable field theory

A study is made of a solvable unrenormalizable model that describes the interaction between a current of spinless particles and a fixed point-charge source. It is shown that the exact scattering amplitude decreases with increasing energy, while it increases according to perturbation theory.
