A simple method is proposed for obtaining old and new low-energy theorems for the Compton effect and the scattering of gravitons by a target with arbitrary spin. The method is based on the use of regularized helicity amplitudes free of kinematic singularities that satisfy dispersion relations. The purely kinematic nature of the low-energy theorems is emphasized.
