The dynamichl apparatus of the dispersion approach is applied to scalar electrodynamics and to the theory of a massive neutral vector field. The effects of renormalization of the wave functions and their irdquenbe on the Hermiticity of the Hetsenberg current are taken into account. The higher current-like operators are found and the equal-time commutators of Heisenberg currents and fields are constructed. The results obtained are in complete agreement with the consequences of spectral representations if the requirement of gauge invariance is used at all stages.
