Based on a sample of 79
third-grade high school students, this study found that success in
solving programming tasks at higher level of knowledge depends on
success in solving programming tasks at lower level of knowledge,
intellectual abilities of students and their computer attitudes.
Success in solving programming tasks at lower knowledge level did
not depend on their intellectual abilities, computer attitudes and
gender.
