High precision navigation of moving vehicles by means of radar images

The paper is devoted to the problem of navigation of moving vehicles by means of radar images. A simplified mathematical model for obtaining a radar image is discussed, the problem of navigation by means of reference points is formulated, an algorithm for comparison of a reference image and a current one (measured during the motion) is described, and estimates of informativeness of pointwise images are given.
