Simple hypothesis testing for regression model under classification of dependent variable

Consider a regression model under classification of dependent variable, i.e. when instead of the true value of the dependent variable only the interval it belongs to is observed. A statistical test for simple hypothesis testing about the true value of the model parameter is developed.
