Solving a mixed boundary value problem for the bending of a plate
Theoretical and applied mechanics, Tome 4 (1978) no. 1, p. 106
In this article, some method of solving the mixed boundary value problem of bending of a thin plate subjected to continuous force and moment is discussed. It is shown that the treatment of such a boundary value problem leads to significant complications in the mathematical sense, if we use the generalized bending theory instead of the Kirchhoff theory.
