A boundary value problem, which in application can be interpreted as a boundary value problem in the bending of a moderately thick plate, is discussed by the theory of complex variable functions. The existence of the solution is proven according to German's method, whereby the solution procedure is translated to Fredholn's integral equation of the second kind.
