The computing of rectangular plates by the variational method of V. Z. Vlasov for different boundary conditions

Several problems concerning the solutions of rectangular plates for different boundary values are solved using the method of V. Z. Vlasov. It is established that the departures of the values obtained by that method from exact solutions are very small, for the choice of only one approximating function. Functions which define the elastic line of the transverse band, are taken as approximating ones.
