A~parametrix for a~nonstrictly hyperbolic equation with nonsmooth characteristics

A parametrix of the type of a Fourier integral operator is constructed, and an existence and uniqueness theorem for a nonstrictly hyperbolic Cauchy problem with nonsmooth characteristics is established. Bibliography: 17 titles.
