On some systems of equations containing a small parameter

This paper considers special linearizations of a two-dimensional system of Navier–Stokes equations in which the group of convective terms is reduced to the simplest system of the first order of hyperbolic or elliptic type with constant coefficients. In a rectangular domain, subject to conditions of periodicity in one of the variables, the behavior of solutions is studied as the coefficient of viscosity tends towards zero.
