After the announced solution of the Four Color Problem by Kenneth Appel and Wolfgang Haken, employing a computer calculation beyond man's capability to survey, most today would not offer the Four Color Problem as an example of the elegance of mathematics. It is towards the rehabilitation of this small gem that we offer our contribution. The following versions are available:
