Use of the pseudoinverse matrix of a factor pattern in the measurement of factors

Under consideration is the problem of finding factor values. Some theorems are proved, yielding the pseudoinversematrix for a factor pattern obtained by the principal-component and factor analysis methods. The corresponding computational algorithms are developed for finding factor values.
