This contribution is a revised version for the Italian mathematical community of a lecture held at ``Festival Filosofia'' (Modena, September 14, 2012). It presents an introduction to Edmund Husserl's Logical Investigations, by identifying their original question: how can be norms of all sorts justified? Logical laws are shown to be just a case in a wider range of norms, included ethical ones.
