Étant donné un corps de nombres $K$ et un nombre premier $p$, le « corps de Bertrandias-Payan » associé, $B{P}_K$, est le compositum de toutes les extensions $p$-cycliques de $K$ qui peuvent se plonger dans des $p$-extensions cycliques de degré arbitrairement grand. La ${\mathbb{Z}}_p$-torsion ${\mathrm{ℬ𝒫}}_K$ du groupe $Gal(B{P}_K/K)$, appelée « module de Bertrandias-Payan » attaché au corps $K$, possède une interprétation algébrique (obstruction à un problème de plongement) et arithmétique (fonctions $L$ $p$-adiques) intéressante. Pour une extension galoisienne finie $L/K$ de groupe de Galois $G$, notre but est d’étudier le noyau et le conoyau du morphisme de transfert (ou capitulation) ${\mathrm{ℬ𝒫}}_K\to {\mathrm{ℬ𝒫}}_L^G$.

Abstract

Given a number field $K$ and a prime $p$, the associated « field of Bertrandias-Payan », $B{P}_K$, is the compositum of all the cyclic $p$-extensions of $K$ which are embeddable into cyclic $p$-extensions of arbitrary large degree. The ${\mathbb{Z}}_p$-torsion ${\mathrm{ℬ𝒫}}_K$ of the group $Gal(B{P}_K/K)$, called the « Bertrandias-Payan module » attached to $K$, has an algebraic meaning (obstruction to an embedding problem) as well as an arithmetic interest ($p$-adic $L$-functions). For a finite Galois extension $L/K$ with Galois group $G$, we aim to study the kernel and cokernel of the so called transfer (or capitulation) morphism ${\mathrm{ℬ𝒫}}_K\to {\mathrm{ℬ𝒫}}_L^G$.
