Best lambda-Approximation for Entire Functions of Finite Order

We investigate so-called BLAS problem for entire functions
whose logarithm of maximum moduli is regularly varying in the sense of
Karamata or de Haan . We also give an interesting application on
Hadamard-type convolutions with regularly varying sequences of
arbitrary index.
