Existence Result for the Displacement Field of Elastic Body

The problem of existence result for displacement field of elastic body in contact with locking support is considered in this paper. Mathematically the problem is refered to, so called, hemivariational inequalities [4]. The existence result is obtained by making use of the theory of pseudo--monotone operators as in [4] or [1].
