A sequence $y_n$ is defined, and its relation to Đuro Kurepa's left factorial hypothesis is discussed. Also, a generalization of functions $n!$, $!n$ and $y_n$, a sequence $u_{n,m}$ is defined, and a number of its properties is proved.
