Synthesis and sorption properties of coatings based on hydroxyethyl cellulose intercalated from the gas phase with antibacterial compounds

The high efficiency of using the electron beam dispersion method in the deposition of single-component and composite coatings based on hydroxyethylcellulose and octenidine was established, and their molecular structure and properties were determined. In the outer layers, the coating contains a higher concentration of C–O, C–C (sp$^3$), C–OH bonds in comparison with the structure of the original organic compound. The coating is characterized by high speed and monotonous dissolution of octenidine in solutions.
