Utilization of Some Technical Achievements for Fundamental Determination of Right Ascension
Publications of the Department of Astronomy, Tome 6 (1976), p. 101
An independent information about the irregularities of the Earth's rotation received by VLBI techniques can be profitable utilized in the determination of the $\alpha$ coordinates of stars. By using the atomic time scale, the reductions of meridian observations become simplified, more objective and homogeneous. The proposed method was tested on a shon series of meridian observations.
