The Virtual Library of the Faculty of Mathematics, http://elibrary.matf.bg.ac.rs, contains about 80 digitized books on astronomy written mostly by Serbian scientists. This article presents a selection of books written up to the first half of the XX century by the following authors: Ruđer Bošković, Zaharije Orfelin, Atanasije Stojković, Đorđe Stanojević, Milan Andonović, Kosta Stojanović, Nikolai Tsinger and Milutin Milanković. For each of these authors a short biography is included.
