Heat-stimulated transformation of zirconium dioxide nanocrystals produced under hydrothermal conditions

Processes occurring during the thermal treatment of nanocrystalline zirconium dioxide are reviewed. Changes in the dimensions and structure of ZrO$_{2}$ that occur depend upon the calcination conditions used.
